How Earnexam Works: A Complete Walkthrough for Students and Parents

Earnexam is a learning and student-engagement app for students in Classes 6–12. It combines curriculum-based quizzes, daily practice, progress tracking, leaderboards, Merit Challenges, XamCoins and eligible educational rewards.

For students, Earnexam is designed to make regular revision more interactive. For parents, it provides a clearer way to understand what their child is practising, where improvement may be needed and how the reward-related features work.

This walkthrough explains how the Earnexam app works through the example of a Class 8 student. It also answers the questions a cautious parent may have before allowing their child to use the platform.

Earnexam is not a shortcut to high marks, guaranteed scholarships or guaranteed rewards. Students still need to attend classes, read their textbooks, revise concepts and learn from their mistakes. Earnexam is intended to support these efforts, not replace them.

Who is Earnexam for?

Earnexam is mainly designed for students in Classes 6–12, NEET, JEE Aspirant and College Students who want an additional way to practise school subjects and measure their progress.

What happens after I sign up?

Step 1: Select the correct class and subjects

After creating an account, the student should select the correct class, board and subjects.

This is important because a Class 8 student should normally receive Class 8 content rather than questions created for younger or older students.

Parents should help verify that the profile details are accurate. Incorrect information may lead to unsuitable questions, confusing progress reports or comparisons with the wrong group of students.

Once the profile is ready, the student can explore subject-wise quizzes, available chapters and other learning activities.

Step 2: Begin with daily quizzes

Daily quizzes are short question sets designed to encourage regular revision. Instead of waiting until an examination is close, students can practise a small number of questions each day.

A daily quiz may include definitions, calculations, grammar rules, textbook concepts or application-based questions. A Class 8 student may see questions from topics such as linear equations, force and pressure, crop production, English grammar, Indian history, geography and civics.

After completing a quiz, the student may be able to review the score, accuracy, completion time, correct answers, incorrect answers and explanations where available.

The most valuable part of a quiz is not simply finishing it. It is understanding why an answer was incorrect. If a student repeatedly makes mistakes in algebra, for example, the result can help identify algebra as a topic that needs more revision.

Step 4: Track progress through leaderboards

Leaderboards can be motivating, but rank always needs context. A student may improve from 50% accuracy to 75% accuracy and still remain at a similar rank because other students have also improved.

That does not mean the student has made no progress. Parents should pay attention to accuracy, weak topics, completion rate, time management and improvement over several weeks.

A leaderboard position should never be treated as a measure of a child’s intelligence, personality or future potential.

Step 5: Participate in Merit Challenges

Merit Challenges are structured academic competitions conducted according to published rules.

A displayed scholarship pool does not mean that every participant will receive a scholarship. Scholarships and other rewards are distributed according to the published rules, eligibility requirements, ranking criteria, verification process and final results.
